Hello and Welcome to our new blog Panther Pause™, here you will find a mom & dad's point of view of traveling with three young cubs. Two are in elementary school and a toddler. The girls are the authors of Cubbie Pause. They go by the pen name Clover, Crimson and Chives.  We will take a break and give our views both pros and cons of what we have experience thru our travels.

So, it's raining at your Disney resort. Lightning in the area and the pools are closed. Kids are bummed. What to do? you ask yourself. Well, it's the perfect time to explore the resort. Check out the decor. There are so many details that you don't get to notice and enjoy going in and out to the pool and over to the parks. Play a scavenger hunt game if one is offered at the front desk or make one up yourself. Look for all the hidden Mickey's in the architectures and in the decor. They never miss an opportunity hide a Mickey. Go to your room and watch a movie. Stop by the community center and make a craft or do some coloring. You can request a DVD player and grab a disk to rent from the community center/gift shop. (Psst.... several times they forgot to bring up the hdmi cable with the dvd player so be aware that might happen) If you are on the monorail loop you can go resort hopping and stay dry. Go to a lounge and grab a cocktail and a snack for yourself and a smoothie for the kids. Like I tell myself only boring people are bored and I'm not boring.
